Entrance to Sudely Castle.

Chace Hotel in Coventry.
We had quite a full day. After leaving London after the Queen's birthday celebration, we headed for Gloucester to see the home and statue of Robert Raikes, the founder of the Sunday School Movement. Darryl was very pleased to have gotten the opportunity to see these two things. He had me take quite a few pictures.
We left Gloucester and headed to Sudely Castel. On our way to Winchcombe, where the castle is located, we found something that made my day. We found ASDA which is part of the WalMart Family!!!! We stopped and picked up a few things and headed on down the road. After the castle stop we headed to Stratford-on-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. We finally made it to the Chace Hotel, completely worn out. Most of our drive had been back roads through
beautiful English countryside. It was quite picturesque. Everything I imagined the English countryside to be and more was what I found. I didn't get any pictures and I do regret that. It truly was beautiful.
